As part of our Blast:beat Mini-Company, we will be raising funds for our local charity, the Irish Cancer Society. this is an extremely important charity, and one which holds significance for many in our crew.
Everyone out they knows someone who has been effected by cancer. The Irish Cancer society is dedicated to preventing cancer, and helping those effected by it.
We're scouting for bands, so if your in a band, and ye think yere up to the challenge, make a demo, and drop us a line ;]
We're after all genres, from jazz to punk, there's only one condition, ye must be passionate about music!!!
So come on bands, we know your out their, take the next step, and see where it takes ye =] =]
As our charity is the Irish Cancer Society, not only will you be on the road to making your band famous, you'll also be doing your bit to help fight cancer =]

Hey Guys! The Munster Regional Final is taking place this Sunday in The Pavilion in Cork City. Doors are at 2pm, and 8 great bands from all over Munster will battle it out for a spot in the Blastbeat National Final in Dublin in May! Here are the 8 competing bands... Failing Earth AWOL Suede Halo President for a Day Glen Scully Better Than You Picture The Scene Catherine Power All these acts will be competing for the grand prize. Guest band on the night is Cork local legends Burn Us Both (www.myspace.com/burnusboth) Admission is €8 with a ticket, €10 without.
